Do we need to redesign the execution drawings for Victaulic?
No, rigid couplings are just as weld joints; Metalfin processes the specification for you and suggests flexible couplings (to resolve dilatation) if necessary.
What is the lifespan of the coupling or gasket?
EPDM gasket has a longer lifespan than a steel pipe.
What is the pressure tolerance of the Victaulic joint?
A standard coupling is designed for up to 51.7 bar operating pressure. Standard pipes are designed for PN40, i.e. 40 bar operating pressure.
